Located on Lake Hartwell, Camp Rotary provides year round "primitive" camping. This 25 acre camp on the lake was built with funds raised by the Rotary Club of Hartwell, Georgia.

Program Facilities
-- 15 campsites
-- Large shelter
-- Swimming dock
-- Council ring for campfires

Reservations

Camp Rotary is available for unit camping year-round. To make reservations for weekend use of Camp Rotary, fill out the reservation form (currently available at each of the council Service Centers or download it here) and send it to the Camping Department at the Jefferson Service Center.

Questions concerning camp facilities or availability should be directed to the Camping Department.

Directions

Camp Rotary is located near I-85 in north Georgia.

From the First Baptist Church in Hartwell (intersction of Route 29 and Route 51 North):

-- Take 51 North (Chandler St) for 6.9 miles to the stop sign at Reed Creek Baptist Church.
-- Turn right and continue 1 mile to Crawford Ferry Road.
-- Turn left and continue 1.2 miles to Rainbow Drive (the first paved road to the right, first right after passing Lindy Lane).
-- Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the camp entrance.
