Located on Lake Lanier, Scoutland provides year round camping and aquatics activities. Scoutland is home to one of Northeast Georgia Council's two Summer Camps and to Webelos Adventure Camp. Scoutland is available for unit camping mid-August through June 1st. A full time camp ranger is on duty to serve volunteer's needs.

Reservations

Scoutland is available for unit camping year-round. To make reservations for weekend use of Scoutland, fill out the reservation form (download it here) and send it to the Camping Department at the Jefferson Service Center

Questions concerning camp facilities or availability should be directed to the Camping Department.

Directions

Scoutland is located on Lake Lanier near Gainesville, Georgia. From I-985:

Take Exit #16 to Highway 53 West. Follow Highway 53 for 2.2 miles.

Turn right onto McEver Road (and stay of Highway 53). Highway 53 dead-ends at Dawsonville Highway.

Turn left and continue 3.9 miles to Sardis Road.

Turn right and continue to first intersection.

Bear right (this is still Sardis Road) to stop sign.

Turn left and continue 0.6 mile to Antioch Campground Road.

Turn right and continue to Looper Lake Road.

Turn right and continue 0.6 mile to stop sign.

Turn left and an immediate right then follow the road into Scoutland.
