Located east of Clayton, Georgia, Camp Rainey Mountain provides year round camping and high adventure activities. Camp Rainey Mountain is home to one of Northeast Georgia Council's two Summer Camps. Camp Rainey Mountain is available for unit camping mid-August through June 1.

A full time camp ranger is on duty to serve volunteer's needs.

Reservations

Camp Rainey Mountain is available for unit camping mid-August through June 1. Camp Rainey Mountain is the site of one of Northeast Georgia's two Summer Camp programs June through August and is not available for weekend activities. Interested in aquiring a reservation at Camp Rainey Mountain for your unit?

To make reservations for weekend use of Camp Rainey Mountains, fill out the reservation form (currently available at each of the council Service Centers) and send it to the Camping Department at the Jefferson Service Center.

Questions concerning camp facilities or availability should be directed to the Camping Department.

Directions

Camp Rainey Mountain is 4.2 miles east of Clayton, Georgia on Highway 76. Turn left at the granite sign on the left side of the road marking the entrance to Camp Rainey Mountain. Follow the road approximately 1 mile until it dead ends into the camp's parking lot. Click here for a map.
